Nevada
Nevada is a state in the Western United States. Famous for various reasons, such as Las Vegas (Sin City) and the mighty Hoover Dam at Lake Mead, it is also notorious for government installations, one of the most famous being Area 51 near Groom Lake in the centre of the state. Nevada has a population of about 2.5 million people and it's population is centred around the cities of Las Vegas, Reno and the state capital, Carson City. It is also known for its considerable mineral wealth, and is called 'Silver State' for this reason.
The Golden Mask
Lara may or may not have visited Las Vegas during Nightmare in Vegas, a bonus level from The Golden Mask, the expansion of Tomb Raider II. Some are of the opinion that it is a dream sequence, while others think it actually occurred for Lara.
Tomb Raider III
Lara visits the Nevada Desert to recover Element 115, one of the Meteorite Artefacts. While exploring a dam and a small research base near Groom Lake, she is captured by military policemen and taken to the High Security Compound. After she escapes, the travels by truck convoy to Area 51, where she finds Element 115.
